Before I started training with Roy, my band Soul Decision had a music video shoot coming up and I needed to be in top shape so our record company got us a “celebrity trainer” that turned out to be more hype than anything.

This guy didn’t even look like he worked out a day in his life. Instead of watching me and correcting my form, he actually worked out with me! I needed a trainer not an overpaid workout buddy. On top of that, he didn’t know a damn thing about nutrition so all I ate for a month were cans of tuna, containers of egg whites, chicken, salad, and pasta. Frustrated with a lack of results, I started running out of time and patience so I fired my old trainer and begged Roy to take me on as a client. Even after the first session, it was obvious that Roy really knew his stuff. In less than two months, he literally transformed me into a different person.

Not only did he get me strong and ripped in time for the video shoot, but he also corrected my posture and fixed all the injuries I developed from working with the other guy. He even taught me about the science of good nutrition and wrote up a food plan that worked for me. In fact, I learned so much from training with him that suddenly everyone I know started to ask me about what I was doing and wanted my advice!

Roy is a walking encyclopedia of information. I can ask him anything and he always knows the answer. As a trainer, his level of focus and discipline is unbelievable. He literally does not take his eyes off you for the entire session. He watches my every rep and catches me every time I do something wrong. Seriously, even if a bomb went off I don’t think he would notice.

When it comes to training, Roy Duquette is the real deal. Let me tell you something. I know a lot of trainers and so-called experts out there but there is NOBODY who’s at his level when it comes to professionalism, knowledge, and experience. I recommend him to everyone I know! My only regret through all this is that I didn’t work with him sooner.
